Business credit: fast-growing energy, real estate and hospitality

Credit for private businesses this year appears to be growing significantly, despite a slowing trend in the last two months.

According to data from the Bank of Albania, the new loan for businesses in the 10th month of this year reached the value of ALL 151.3 billion, an increase of 16.4% compared to the same period a year ago.

The sector showing the highest credit growth rates this year is energy. Statistics show that the new loan for energy in 10 months has reached the value of 15.35 billion ALL, increasing by almost three times compared to the same period a year ago.
