I can't make sense of this at the Judicial level. The lawsuits seem so archane to me in the face of the basics:

1. Who had the money initially? So far this does not matter.
2. Who had the money taken away and why? So far this does not matter.
3. Who took the money? Apparently this matters which is why #1 and #2 don't matter.
4. Who has it now? Apparently this matters also

Brain-exploding defenses like the government-is-not-the-government or the alternate only-the-government-can-sue-the-government defense choices seem to have worked.

If this was a gang crime on a corner (and at least $999 if in Ca) the police would probably handle it (depending on who paid the DA's campaign money). The police probably like these easy ones when all the thugs (UST), chumps (Shareholders), and mules (FHFA) involved have been open and transparent and are still on the same street corner. Of course, the Police recognize the crime but stay away from anything the DA renders a waste of time.
My police officer friends are now saying the Judges routinely blow off even the few charges brought by the SORO$ DAs with insubstantial sentencing.
