Everyone realizes... that the US government really doesn't back the loans... its the US itself.. you and me and everyone. What i mean is sure a loan or two may go bad... the market may tanks some; but they really aren't making anymore realestate and no more land. So, in an inflationary captiliistic society... prices go up. and values increase... over time.. i mean... my parents bought their first house for like $25,000 and today its worth like 650 thousand. So my point is its... America that backs the value of the homes and the loans.

Fannie and freddie; due to the large number of loans ultimately will never fail; if given time to recover provided they maintain solid lending standards or loan acquisition standtards like they have historicially.

I guess what i am saying is this "tax payer backed" tenet is really a lie.

That's the thing paulson and the other crooks never understood and why things are the way they are and why they couldn't reform a system and a process that is simply not broken.

The crooks may not like it... but broken it never was.
