What is TRUE is that Michaels is a CONvicted Felon (3 Times, so far), A wife beater, a child beater, a dog beater, and a DEAD BEAT DAD.... he owes $250K to a previous child and now he owes his current (soon to be ex) money....

I am guessing he doesn't have a CA DL...

Nothing... NOT ONE THING, that Michaels does is "legit", imltho.

Why does the non-payment of support matter?

It shows what he will do to his children and a peron/s he said he loved... he has done it multiple times, not just this latest soon to be EX...
SO if he does that to a "loved one"... WTH will he do to strangers/investors?

Well, I assume he won't beat them, who knows, but I do know that he will take their money GLEEFULLY, while NOT doing as he promised and not thinking another second about it.

To support that thought, his FIRST ex-wife was owed lots of money. He lost his passport for not paying, he went to her, "promised" he would pay, if she would just sign a document saying he had paid her the THOUSANDS of dollars he owed her. Too bad for her, she felt for his con. He never paid. Oh yes, and that was the marriage where he beat his son.

What a great, "legit" guy Peter Michaels and all his failed companies are... LMFAO
