Obviously moderation is left to the mods. I am unaware of anyone else having the right to delete posts or ban people.
That being said, it seems a little thin skinned to be put out by comments about the nature of criticism of the dialogue. I had thought that the name Tornado Alley meant a rough and tumble situation but what you describe is closer to "in loco parentis".
My fear is that letting people slide because they seem insignificant is what leads to Fuentes dining with an ex President.
It seems that Zuckerberg and the former owners of Twitter were actually concerned with non moderators opinions of what should be de-platformed. I wont back down from my opinion that allowing dangerous info a platform is a mistake, and wont be silenced, you do as you see fit.
