The problem is that if potential investors do any investigation on the "Peruvian transaction" they are very likely to land here:

and if they click on the "Press Release" tab they will find more "information" about the gold deals than mONI has ever put out. Whether that information is true or not is unknown and possibly irrelevant. The fact that mONIque was so quick to put out that press release and hasn't released anything about anything three months going on does create uncertainty...

...and a feeling that "the lady doth protest too much, methinks."
