On the occasion of the recent edition of Ecomondo, Europe's leading trade fair event dedicated to technological and industrial innovation in an eco-sustainable key, LC3 Trasporti (https://www.lc3trasporti.com/it/?lang=en), the Eugubina-based company leader in green logistics, in partnership with Iveco for the supply of the first heavy-duty vehicles and with Edison Next (https://www.edison.it/en/edison-next) for the supply of the molecule, today announced an agreement for the future road deployment in Italy of the first hydrogen-powered articulated heavy-duty vehicles. The dispensers made available by energy player Edison Next will be used to power five Nikola Tre (article 29 Settembre 2021 : https://www.dieselweb.eu/iveco-nikola-stabilimento-ulm/) Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (Fcev), for service to LC3 Trasporti customers. The vehicle's stock capacity of about 70 kilograms of hydrogen at a pressure of 700 bar, combined with an expected refueling time of about 20 minutes, allows for diesel-like performance and a travel range of up to 800 kilometers.
