I would have thought the driverless cars would be more like taxis than would hang around not being used. The other points you make feel fair concerns for now though. Haven't read anything on it for yonks. A link would have helped to your Gridlock Sam .. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_Schwartz .. whom i assume has no vested interests.

I just felt off the top your 'never in major cities' was most certainly in the long run gonna be a tough nut to swallow. As technologies improve and attitudes change i'd guess, IF Gridlock Sam says what you said, he'd be in time proved wrong.
