Like many of the people who are holding the stock, I bought my shares before the following three events occurred:
• two Canadians got caught engaging in market manipulation of a US stock and violated Canadian law
• OTC Markets placed a caveat emptor (CE) designation on the stock
• US brokerage firms placed the stock on their Restricted Securities list

The brokers that are allowing people to buy the stock varies depending on individual circumstances. Non-US citizens using non-US brokerage firms have more options than US citizens using US brokerage firms.
