Words of wisdom to say the least! Been putting salvaged money from brutal plays to use on new opportunities in these ongoing wonky market times instead of remotely dwelling on my many many losers ytd. Been 1 of the most brutal years over my entire career & sadly I'm not alone as it's been that way for many. But emotions have nothing to do with it exactly as you state. Separating emotions and making the adjustments necessary to focus on new opportunities is the only way to survive.
