I don't buy a stock on a wish! There has to be something substantive that's worthy of the investment! And the reason the selling has died off as you mentioned is because all of the shares that were bought in the last run were bought at higher prices than where it is now trading and people hate selling at a loss! Thus, the bagholder soldier grappling with shoulda, woulda, coulda as they hope for a bright future that may or may not ever come! The market makers always try to drop the price back down underneath where the recent runs started from which is why when you see profits take them off the table or you will end right back down where you started from, or even lower than where you entered! ~Welcome to the OTC!
