During his gold escalator announcement of some years ago, the lobby of his building was seeded with paid actors. It's very possible he can no longer afford to do that.

He's running for the money, of course. Campaign contributions will start rolling in and he'll start illegally diverting a good chunk of them to his personal accounts.

He's the leader of aggrieved, White Nationalist America and no one else. He's the culmination of 70 years of Republican candidates' refusals to disavow unsavory groups to gain their support. Ike refused to repudiate McCarthy and the Birchers and those tactics have gained momentum ever since.

I'm looking forward to him challenging the results of primaries he loses and the subsequent implosion of the Republican Party.
