GLS, FERCAM, LC3 and SMET are the players that have signed agreements with IVECO for the delivery of electric trucks with a range of up to 500 km. The announcements at Ecomondo, where IVECO also shows off the eDaily in the body and van versions.

The electric heavy developed by Nikola's Americans thanks to the joint venture with IVECO (the basis of the truck is that of the S-WAY) has attracted the attention of some of the main Italian transport companies, and todayat EcomondoIVECO has unveiled the names of these realities, evidently sensitive to the issue of reducing emissions even in the long haul.

GLS, FERCAM3 and SMET are the players that have signed agreements with IVECO for the delivery of electric trucks. Specifically, GLS, a transport and logistics company, will see two Nikola Tre BEVs involved in the electrification of the fleet, which will be delivered to the D'Innocenti Group and A.E.V. to be then introduced into their network. The South Tyrolean FERCAM have ordered a Nikola TRE BEV, while five Nikola fully electric trucks will be available to LC3, a company that strongly believes in long-haul electrification. Finally, SMETchose two Nikola Tre BEVs to make its fleet even greener.

In general, IVECO's participation in this year's edition of Ecomondo in Rimini is particularly oriented towards electrification. On display the highlights of the recent German experience at the IAA in Hanover: the eDaily and the Nikola Tre in the FCEV version, or with fuel cells to extend the autonomy of the vehicle. In Rimini, until Friday 11, it is possible to admire two eDaily – a chassis cab with a wheelbase of 3,450 mm and a van with 10.8 cubic meters of volume – with 190 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. Up to 400 kilometers the range provided in the version with 111 kWh capacity batteries. eDaily is also available in the test drive area of the fair.
