It's fine people do it all the time....I do it to people I know....there are certain boards where people just inform all on the board about their stocks and it's up to the people that read the boards to do DD and they decide if they want to buy....one example is Momo's Breakout boards. If you go on that board you will see they post on other boards that alert people. Just don't go on a specific company board because they will delete your post for spamming....it is a process, and once the FOMO kick's in it just continues....going to a stock promoter may give a one time quick push, but it can be risky for existing shareholders sometimes....
