Very nice work for starters. If you wanna read more about breccia's, go to the Ucoi message board. Type breccia pipes in the search box. There's quite a few articles posted on the subject. The thing we're all jazzed about is the high gold content found inside the tubes. Its a highly concentrated vein of gold found within this zone. I believe, its located not on the Deer Trail Site but at the Bromide Mine. If I'm wrong someone will correct me. Some of the tubes are 20' in diameter. Very interesting subject and Ray Brown's the expert on the topic. The old timers quit mining it because they hit water at the bottom of the shaft. So they abandoned the well. One of the planned projects is to dewater the well and continue excavation.
