The government is more than aware about how markets work, and how their stranglehold tactics are hurting shareholders each day and every day. Hamish should point out also the far reaching implications of this if it is normalized through the judicial system. Luckily we have courts with citizens who are able to sit on juries, and not all decisions end up at the hands of judges contorted or biased opinions based on minute and obscure wording or political views.
I said before that this will come down to Lamberth's jury instructions. I just hope we are privy to them. Knowing him, he will put the whole instruction episode out of the publics ears and only the jury and lawyers will be privy. He does that, then , yep...the fix is in. He knows by now that even though there are no phones or recording devices allowed, information is being brought to shareholders attentions. So, I look for him to try to limit our observations of his instructions by making it as difficult as possible for them to be divulged.
“If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”
