Dr. Fisher refers to Y90 as a pure beta emitter in his research paper, so I feel in pretty good company. I take being insulted by you as a badge of honor.

And if memory servers me correctly, the one in a million positron (I think it was 10-5, so a slight exaggeration) came from an excited state of Zr90.......Zr90 is not Y90. Any physicist will tell you Y90 is a pure beta emitter. It may be in the decay chain, but just being in the decay chain does not make it from that isotope.
