I can't make any sense out of this.
1) The Collins case is not takings claims.
2) It has been remanded to see if plaintiffs should get retroactive relief. That's not the same as damages.
3) The jury verdict in Lamberth's case won't be applicable to any other case that currently exist because it is only about the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing.
4) Whether or not Pandora's box has been opened does not depend on the outcome of Lamberth's trial.
