remember, they also said "Amazon" is buying AMC too but it's rumors. i mean.... Amazon, they have Prime Streaming so why would they want to buy a physical movie location when its much cheaper to stream hundred's of show right there at home.

From a business stand point, if i own a streaming service i will never buy a physical location just to stream because i will have to waste more money maintaining that physical location. with streaming, i can reach more people as the people can watch/ stream at any time they want with ease and it will be cost effective for me as the owner of the streaming service since i only need to maintain one website to whereas hundred of physical location and buildings, i will need to waste money on restocking those business and maintaining the buildings and hiring people to work there and if that building/location is not working well then what's the point of investing in that location. you wouldn't want to waste money fixing a location with low business traffic.

Disney, have their own streaming service so the notion of them buying AMC from a business stand point is poor investment. As i stated, they will need to waste money maintaining a physical location all year-round. They do not need to own a physical theater because it is much cheaper to release it in theater and let the theater take some profit from the ticket sale and to their streaming service than to "own" a physical theater.
