That’s not how it works, Disney would offer the price, however whereas typically a pps would then settle at that price, I think with AMC we would see the squeeze as brokers and shorts would both have to scramble for actual shares to submit to the transfer agent for the exchange to Disney shares or cash.

But I don’t see Disney buying AMC- I would instead prefer to see a partnership with Disney movies and favorites on the big screen.
