With the symbol deleted by FINRA all shareholder shares of Refocus Group Inc. still exist but the shares no longer have a ticker/symbol. Simply, shareholder shares are now shares of a private company, no longer a public company.

For Refocus Group Inc. to regain a ticker/symbol the company would need to obtain a Market Maker to represent the stock and make a market for the shares. A Market Maker would need current and adequate Financials and complete disclosures about every facet of the company's operations, indebtedness, any convertible debentures (i.e., loans tied to the stock), share structure (Authorized and Outstanding). Otherwise, FINRA will not permit the stock to regain a ticker/symbol and will not allow the stock to trade on any public market.
