Hi Arizona1, I'm not quite following you. I really havent kept up with who in the Republican Party wants to eliminate SS and Medicare.

As for me - I have other savings and income streams outside of my 401K. Enough to replace my SS and still keep up with inflation if I need to. Which by 2035, I expect to.

The other thing is my expertise is still in demand. I've kept current on several in demand technologies. So I may keep working part time for a few more years.
