There is a new wave of world class IP creation happening from India for the world, not just in traditional software, #saas and tech, but across the board, including #lifesciences. Vyome Therapeutics Inc., Iron Pillar's Fund I portfolio company just released an incredible new paper in #Nature Biomedical Engineering around #antimicrobial resistant bone infection treatment. I am, admittedly, not a biotech expert, but as I always say, we are in the #people business. And this investment was a bet on the team, their domain expertise and deep passion for building a large, global, IP-driven business.

Shiladitya Sengupta, co-founder and Chief Science Officer at Vyome is a #nehruscholar, professor at Harvard Medical School, serial entrepreneur and gem of a human being who is one of the individuals putting #Indian biotech startups on the global map.

While Vyome's 12 year journey has not been an easy one, the #grit, #persistence and #creativity shown by Shiladitya, Venkat Nelabhotla and team is truly admirable. I am truly honored to be a small part of their exciting journey!
