Wrong. Look at the PSA test, which has become a routine screening tool in spite of its inaccuracy. A cheap point of care test for cancer could no doubt become a routine part of every apparently healthy person's yearly physical exam. Why order a more expensive test unless cancer is suspected in an individual or the individual belongs to a high-risk cohort. This is an excellent concept that fits with diagnostic tools that are currently being used for other conditions.

Is anyone out there a relatively healthy younger person who has had a routine physical exam lately? Check your lab test document to see the types of tests the doctor has ordered. That's where the RECAF point of care test will go.
