Yes I may be guilty of mentioning EAG here which was a penny stock until a few days or so ago. In defense of that stock and myself it was selling at .50 cents when I mentioned it with the book value at $1.10. It was a no brainer and with the positive news many could have made money on it. Is it anymore speculative than trading China internets? I don't think so but I do agree that pumping pennies in general isn't a good sign if you fear end of the road bubbles. Eag didn't deserve to be crushed and forgotten in the bear market but that stuff happens. It's nice to see investors finally realizing it has some value beyond penny status. The daytraders will still knock it around for awhile but that will end.
