charts would show the direction of a stock and potential short term and long term trends...charts dont show or indicate the condition of bankruptcy...that is something that can only be surmised from fundamental issues...

"Declining earnings, declining profits, no cash reserves, declining revenue."

these are not charting issues...they are fundamemntal issues that can be seen in sec filings...

you can track things on a chart like money flow, buys, sells, price per share, volume, relative strength, etc etc...the whole point of charting is to try to gauge market or investor sentiment...

its like trying to figure out if the economy will enter into a recession by charting the sp500...it wont tell you that...it is not meant for that...you can surmise what you wish but the only real way to figure out if a recession is coming is via fundamental issues...inflation numbers, job reports, Fed interest rate flucutations etc etc
