Divergent Paths
Two seperate traders,
Did go seperate ways,
They had some good times,
And money did make.
Each seperate trader,
Had his own style,
Proven and tested,
Both worked All the while.
Two seperate traders,
With two seperate groups,
Plenty of good stocks
To feed all the troops.
One spiteful trader,
Born of the first,
Mindless and heartless,
His tongue bore a curse.
A duck who did follow
His mother around,
And quack when his brother
Was no where to be found.
One spiteful trader,
Decided that he,
Would send private messages
Slandering me.
How did he think
That I wouldn't hear,
Of all of the nasties
He whispered in ears?
Why did he do it?
Who cares just the same?
He works in the dark
To slander my name.
Will they believe him?
I'd surely say no,
For those who do know me,
See the light that I show.
A trader with heart,
Striving to be,
Sharks swim about,
Nipping at me.
Lord show them the truth,
Help them to see...
More than a number
In a capitalist sea.
