The overpriced designer water could be catorgized as entertainment or disposable cash purchases. The $30 BeWater on Amazon is overpriced designer water.
The cheap water you get at Wal-Mart for $4 a case is what the masses
buy when they need water. This is more of a monthly food budget purchase.
If the masses need bottled water for survival, they will buy the cheapest bottled water they can find from their monthly food budget purchases.
Also, trucking bottled water by the case or gallon jug from NC to CA and trying to sell for competitive Wal-Mart prices will end in disaster. If there is a need, the logistics giant that is Wal-Mart, will figure out the most economical way to get water to the masses as efficiently as possible.
