I wish I could answer that question. I cannot.

I know he has had lawyers lie for him, that's one reason. One lawyer in a Federal case, one of his Felony charges, did a straight up lie to the Feds. Can't believe that lawyer, a woman, still has her law license. How is that possible? He has had another lawyer suspended for screwing clients but he has his law license back. How does that happen?

Michaels is a complete scumbag and has been for YEARS. His dad was a "prize", so he learned young.

I would like to believe he will go to PRISON for beating his wife. Reasonably sure he won't, sorry to say. My guess is, he will take a Plea deal; which is another reason he hasn't gone to prison. However, I still hold the hope he ends up in the slammer.

Also, after all Michaels' time in court rooms, he knows how to work the system; which could be another answer. Not to mention a screwed up legal system that rewards criminals, imltho. (Not just Michaels has gotten away with horrible stuff.)

Why hasn't he been put in jail for not paying taxes? Other people get put in jail for that, right?

As I said, I can't answer the question, I can just shake my head in disgust.
