IXICO CEO on H1 trading update and revenue drivers in Alzheimer’s trials

HIVE Digital Technologies begins mining at new 200MW Paraguay facility, mines 108 BTC in March

Hive Digital Technologies Executive Chairman Frank Holmes joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share a major operational milestone and the company’s March 2025 production results. HIVE has officially begun mining operations at its new 200-megawatt hydro-powered facility in Yguazú, Paraguay. Phase 1 of the site is now energized and operating at an initial production rate of 100 Petahash. The site is expected to scale steadily in the coming months with additional mining capacity set to be deployed in phases. Holmes also announced that HIVE mined 108 Bitcoin during the month of March, increasing the company’s HODL balance to 2,201 BTC, valued at approximately $180 million based on a Bitcoin price of $82,000 as of March 31, 2025. The company saw an average hashrate of 6.3 Exahash per second, fleet efficiency of 20.7 joules per terahash, peak BTC-only hashrate of 6.2 EH/s and BTC-equivalent hashrate of 6.4 EH/s. The launch of operations in Paraguay reflects HIVE’s continued commitment to expanding its global footprint using green energy solutions. EnWave expands partnership with MicroDried through new equipment deal and license amendment

EnWave Corporation CEO Brent Charleton joined Steve Darling from Proactive to announce a significant expansion of the company’s long-standing relationship with MicroDried, its original royalty partner and a leader in premium fruit and vegetable ingredient production. The announcement includes the signing of an Equipment Purchase Agreement and License Amendment, under which MicroDried will acquire an additional 60kW Radiant Energy Vacuum (REV™) machine to increase production capacity in response to rising demand for its clean-label, nutrient-rich ingredients. MicroDried currently operates three large-scale REV™ dehydration lines at its facility in Nampa, Idaho. Charleton emphasized MicroDried’s extensive portfolio and deep integration with leading global consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands. In addition to the new equipment purchase, the license amendment grants MicroDried exclusive rights to produce apple-based ingredients using REV™ technology within Washington, Oregon, and Idaho—further entrenching its leadership in vertically integrated, value-added fruit processing. As part of the agreement, MicroDried also holds an option to purchase a second additional 60kW REV™ machine before July 31, 2025. Should that option be exercised, a pre-negotiated bulk discount will apply—an incentive that supports long-term production scalability. HANetf’s Tom Bailey on Future of European Defence UCITS ETF (ARMY)

HANetf head of research Tom Bailey talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about the launch of the new Future of European Defence UCITS ETF (LSE:ARMY, XETRA:ARMY, EURONEXT:ARMY). Bailey explained the rationale behind launching a regionally focused fund, following the success of HANetf’s Global Future of Defence UCITS ETF (NATO). He said: “We think for many investors it kind of resonates with that whole theme of building up your defence sector via a European ETF with a European company.” Bailey noted that European defence spending rose by 11.7% between 2023 and 2024, outpacing global growth of 7.5%, with Germany’s own spend increasing 23%. This uptick is attributed to geopolitical shifts and the drive for strategic autonomy. Bailey highlighted a growing preference within Europe to source defence equipment domestically, reducing reliance on US firms, which currently account for around 60% of European defence procurement. He also pointed to political developments in the US, including recent tariff announcements and perceived isolationist policies, as reinforcing Europe's need for self-reliance in defence. The ARMY ETF is currently listed on the London Stock Exchange, Xetra (Germany), and Euronext Paris, with plans to launch in Italy.
