Stock price manipulation very difficult to prove in Court.

That's why the SEC rarely prosecutes these types of alleged violations.

However, the SEC may have been influenced to amend some of their rules (as they did in Sept. 2021) by the "crazy" gyrations in GameStop and several other stocks back in early 2021.
