EVs are pathetic. The new Ford Lightning has a 75 mile range. The Tesla battery can only handle about 1500 recharges until it starts to fade to an even worse range than it already has. Batteries lose juice when in storage. It’s just like the battery that starts your fossil fuel engine. 5 years max, and it’s toast whether you drive it a lot or not. The grid itself barely has enough capacity to power all AC units on hot days, yet alone provide power for hundreds of thousands of EVs. To make this happen you need about 50 new nuclear power plants in the US alone, if you want everyone to be driving an EV. An extension cord is not a power supply. Let me repeat that AN EXTENSION CORD IS NOT A POWER SUPPLY, and that is all a “charging station” really is.
