Does the old technology have the ability to look under a teredo crust and indicate what precious metals might be there? Or is it only the SeaSearcher? I'm pretty sure magnets, bottom feeder this or side eye that are not able to differentiate metals under a previously unknown teredo crust. I'm not saying indicate if it is ferrous or non-ferrous but indicate specifically which metal it is, i.e. gold, silver, copper, brass, etc.

Do you know why, after all the decades of searching on Juno, no one, other than Seafarer, noticed there is a huge teredo crust at the sight around the anchor and ballast stones?

Some people seem to think teredo crusts don't exist or simply fail to understand what they are and how they are created at wreck sites. You'd think experts would be familiar with such a thing.

BTW, I think research is vital to treasure salvage and will continue to be. Just like the old tech will still serve a purpose in the process.
