i think the shf are a rock in a hard spot. when it went below $10 they had to ante up 25% more in the collateral for margin. they probably were going to get a margin call before that but it cost them less money to add 25% rather than an entire margin call plus a squeeze. it's all or nothing for them now. cash is scarce, real shares are scarce and they have ran out of both, and luck.

a month and a half until the election and gensler could go up against a new bunch of people. the committee today was calling for him to testify and the next bunch won't be so kind i doubt.
