Incorrect. AMC has no more authorized common shares to sell/dilute to raise capital and pay down debt, as its shareholders stupidly refused last year to authorize more common shares when AMC shares were trading at seriously inflated values, which would have allowed AA and AMC to raise tons of $$$ to pay off all of its debt and raise additional capital. The preferred APES were the admitted "workaround" for that problem. There are up to around 4.5 Billion more preauthorized Preferred APE shares available under the 2013 authorization, but Adam Aaron and the company are not likely to sell any of those right now to raise capital or pay down debt with APE trading only a bit above its all time low of $4.40.

AA now have 2 stock with "unlimited" share to dilute for their own gains all thanks to the hedgefund. This is not a Dog eat Dog world.
