Donbas_Ukrainian lithium_could be_ripped out_of Putin's hands_by Christmas... let's hope

See paragraph 19 which reads:
Polish-Ukrainian investment company Millstone & Co, for instance, struck a 2021 deal with an Australian mining company for active exploration at two untouched lithium sites (ie in Ukraine). Once the war started, the companies froze those plans, said Millstone managing partner Mykhailo Zhernov. One site — a deposit covered by farmland — now is so close to the front lines that Zhernov remains uncertain whether it is under Ukrainian or Russian control. Initial plans to build a lithium battery factory there have also been shelved.

If any of you are confused over why America has pumped US$18.2B into Ukraine since February then this Washington Post story above should help you understand better the behind-the-scenes desires/plans of Uncle Sam. The Donbas needs good old fashion "American saving by gosh darn".

500,000mt of lithium in Ukraine https://kleinmanenergy.upenn.edu/news-insights/lithium-the-link-between-the-ukraine-war-and-the-clean-energy-transition/

Dear Bolivia, if Putin is thrown out of Ukraine then he will definitely be coming for your lithium in December on the Uranium One contract to take over all your lithium production... and you can bet on it. Hopefully the Russians will bring some "supporting infrastructure" with them like great restaurants, nightclubs and super whorehouses (with luxury-quality hot showers) when they set up shop near the border with Chile... probably nice and close to the Lithium Chile Inc jobsite in Salar de Coipasa "straddling the Bolivian border"
