I'm actually surprised that so many here are surprised by this delay! Whne this deal gets done, i dont expect it to be on the last day given in these 8k's. Personally, for me, this 8k solidifies in concrete that this deal is going to get done! If they weren't close, we'd see another 3 month or more added to the timeline closure. I've posted several times this is most likely being postponed due to the lawsuit. I would think the Sept 19th date is not happening and now Oct 3rd date comes into play. The fact that Oct 31 is the new close date tells me that this deal is all but closed!
I hope like hell we see a lot of selling come Monday and I'm betting someone large is hoping we see a lot of retail selling as well, and if we do i expect it not to last but a day or two tops and that might not even happen. The daily and weekly are looking awesome with a Golden Cross breaking out today on the daily. We've all been waiting a long time for this day, it is going to get done one way or another imo! Again, i'll wait until i see a pr/8k that the lawsuit has been settled and or dismissed all together. Once we see it, i believe we start to see a landslide of high level pr's starting with a completed merger, followed by some enormous volume days and finally leaving trips to test that .0023 range!
