I’m fairly certain they are well aware of their current status …. If one chooses to hear what they have had to say in their last CC many forward statements/ objectives / goals were mentioned … along with recognition of the current status of the company.
The only good analogy coming to mind right now is waiting for bread …
Bread is wonderful… but it takes an inordinate amount of effort before we can pluck it off the shelf …
Wheat must be planted … patience is needed while the seeds germinate and develop into plants … the frail plants take care and time to grow into harvestable stocks …. Wheat then once harvested Needs to be dismantled and parts sorted to get the grains for making flour … flour needs to be made and then sent to packaging … then sent to / obtained by bakers … along with other ingredients..
then, bread again isn’t instant … any one whose ever tried baking bread from scratch knows the rising of the dough is a delicate process … if the yeast is added to too hot of water you can kill it and thus have bread that doesn’t rise … kneed the dough too much it comes out hard and dense and not good …
Rising … the rising of the dough takes patience and the right environment too .. then baking, the right temperature is a must …
Eventually bread is had and enjoyed
To the consumer who simply runs into the grocery store and buys bread - goes home and eats it - RARELY thinks about the fact it took a year most likely to have been able to have that bread - when factoring in all the steps ….
We can yell and scream and want things done and deals made “now” … but in life deals, big pharma especially, don’t work that way or that fast …. Big pharma working incredibly slow was indeed mentioned in the last CC and inordinate time and money etc discussed as well as far as what it takes to move a product through the hoops in refers to fda and deals and financing etc ….
If you want to hear what they are working on, re listen to all of the CCs and try with out being angry while listening…
