This paper demonstrates the power of coherent quantum annealing. In my view, the universe began as a simple coherent system and the early formation of matter and energy is itself an example of quantum annealing. -- Study Quantum kinks and the Kibble-Zurek mechanism for a complete trip down the rabbit hole.
