Liz Truss has delivered her first speech as Prime Minister of Great Britain, listing the government's three priorities. The economy, energy and the National Health Service will be her priorities, the BBC reports.

The economy

Truss said he would focus on "getting Britain working again" with a "bold plan to boost the economy through tax cuts and reforms".


She said she would "cut taxes to reward hard work and encourage business-led growth and investment" as part of her mission. She added that it will "make sure that we are building hospitals, schools and roads".

POWER

Truss promised to "deal with the energy crisis caused by Putin's war". She said she would "take action this week to deal with energy bills and secure energy supplies".

National Health Service (NHS)

The Prime Minister said she would ensure people can get doctor appointments and access the NHS services they need. "We will put our health service on a strong footing," she said.
