Not exactly if the author is thinking all their shares each get a vote. If one bought their shares with a broker off the open market, pretty sure your total share count counts as one vote.
The broker has 30 people on their books in street name for d-w-a-cked, then they give d-w-a-cked TA a total of 30 votes. It doesn't matter about how many shares one has in a retail brokerage account.

d-w-acked has to compare ones ownership of d=w=a=cked with the brokers off the proxy vote submission. But again, it's in d-w-a-cked by laws that retail common shareholders have no actual vote with corp operations OR decisions.

The proxy thing is a ruse when applied to street name retail. Not to mention said investors have super voting rights with b and c issues. Common shareholders with warrants have no vote.
