They (UST and FHFA) lied to the public about death spiral in 2012. After knowing that Fannie and Freddie would be able to repay the loan and end the conservatorship in a few years (with the evidence of the emails of Ms. McFarland and the financial reports since 2012), they implemented the Net Worth Sweep to ensure Fannie and Freddie will never be able to exit the conservatorship (with evidence of the many emails from Jim Parrott and his colleagues). The NWS perpetually sweep Fannie and Freddie of their future earnings perpetually. They showed no respect to private property right. To hide their criminal actions, they denied access to 11,000+ documents under Presidential privilege.

This is America. If you want to nationalise Fannie and Freddie, pay for it. It is a crystal clear case of illegal taking of private property.
