Do other AUVs discriminate between silver, gold, copper, iron, bronze, lead, aluminum, stainless steel and other metals like the SeaSearcher does? Or do they just say if something is iron or not iron? Let me help. They do not. They can only indicate if something is ferrous or non-ferrous. And maybe provide very low resolution images of what they are able to show.

What resolutions are other AUVs scanning at? Does anyone here know the resolution of the SeaSearcher? How about the depth of both?

Seems it would be hard to say what one thing can and can not do if you are not familiar with the specs of each technology.

When offering an opinion on an evaluation, seems most significant to ignore the new and proprietary technology of the SeaSearcher that any other AUV does not have.

If I was to legitimately criticize the performance of a product in comparison to another product, knowing the specs of both would be pertinent information. And any comparison without those specs would be useless.

Tim Reynolds studied all other available technologies and their specs before creating the SeaSearcher. So he does know what is currently out there and the limitations of each.

When he says something about the SeaSearcher, understand that he has specs on all technologies and is making an informed evaluation, not guessing.

Amazing have many affiliates of the failing old tech companies continue to make wrong and false assumptions. No wonder some of those stocks have tanked to low trips and are no longer trading nor reporting their financials.
