i think this is what got it popping, from yesterday-

10:43 ET Finisar: We believe co on track to exceed OctQ guidance -- (FNSR) 3.41 +0.13: American Technology Research indicates that its checks with channel and industry sources in recent weeks indicate continued strong demand in SANs/LANs (56% of revenue) and a turnaround in metro access (26% of revenue) and network test (13% of revenue). Firm believes the turnarounds in metro access and network test are significant, as both of these two businesses are at inflection points for growth after several quarters of declines. Amtech senses that CSCO (SAN and metro) and the SAN networking players as sources of strength.
