I vehemently disagree.
The market is the ultimate arbiteur of who is listened to and who is not. Have you noticed the reaction when a upgrade or a downgrade is released by an analyst.
All you read in tose journals are meaningless if that's what counted on.
Furthermore, analysts are in direct contact with the company. Have the" do it your selfers" the same access? I think not!
And how many investors pouring over a medical journal truly understand what they're reading. NOT MANY!
The few " do it your selfers" who dismiss professional research that I witnessed... are losing their shirt.
