IF they are smart it will go like this... Pdiv gets all the properties in exchange for all of their common and preferred so the there are only (yes, I'm assuming a massive short position) 500 million shares o/s. They also give gncp 100k of pdiv shares. Gncp dividends the pdiv shares causing a massive short squeeze. Nobody cares they've ripped off the gncp shs as the sp flies. Gncp becomes a clean shell merging with someone else. Pdiv buys a billion shares on the open market, sells them later for a buck a share sending varmit into retirement and everyone lives happily ever after, especially me.
