So far, the nations of Europe haven't gotten a competitive advantage from renewables. The people of Denmark pay the highest electric rates in the world; higher even than in developing countries. And Germany has continued to prostitute itself for Russian oil and gas. 1/Fracking is the main reason that the United States, unlike Germany, can defy Vladimir Putin and make it stick. He can't threaten us with an embargo of oil and gas.
