I think you have it wrong. The settlement conference is confidential so that details of what is or isn't offered and what is or isn't said remain between the parties and the judge

The whole point is to keep from having message board hacks like us second guess whatever conversations do (or do not) occur!

I don't in any way think that confidentiality means that news is imminent.

If I could afford to buy all of them, I would not need to buy any of them and I sure wouldn't be spending time on the message boards!
