ZapMedia Inc. and Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co., have said they will produce an entertainment convergence product.
The "Samsung ZapStation" will allow consumers to access digital audio and video entertainment and surf the Internet without a computer. Due out by the end of 2001, It will contain a digital audio jukebox that can play Windows Media Audio and MP3 formats, a CD and DVD player, and a CD ripper.
