Redbox shareholders on Tuesday approved the company's acquisition by Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment. The deal calls for each Redbox share to be converted to 0.087 Chicken Soup shares, with a current value a little north of $1 a share. The transaction is likely to be completed in the next day or two, bringing to an unhappy end a weirdly quixotic meme stock story.
